The start of this week was a bank holiday, so what do I do? I go for a drive with my friends around Buchan. I took them to one of my favorite places outside a village called Strichen where I used to come to camp with my guides. I’ve been thinking about the past a lot, and a lot about Guiding. I don’t have time to volunteer anymore because I have to travel back and forth to uni, it’s something that I miss unbelievably, but I know that if I went to visit, I wouldn’t have been forgotten. That’s something I find amazing about being in guides, you can always find someone that can share in your memories, campfire stories, history and community I want to get this across in my work.
